Bistro Menil begins to take shape

We’re glad to report that the framework of Bistro Menil is up and construction is progressing at a steady clip. It’s amazing to see the rise of a new building in the Menil campus.  Architecturally, it will fit easily into its surroundings with a clear nod to the past, yet mirroring the modern, clean lines of the Menil Collection.  We are all working hard to ensure the restaurant becomes a unique, community-oriented establishment we can all enjoy.

We’re busy finalizing the food and beverage menus in these last few months leading to the restaurant opening.  In fact, Chef Greg Martin is headed to France in a few days to tour vineyards and cull their best wines for our tables.

We look forward to the opening later this summer.
