20 Oct Loire Valley Wine Dinner
Please join us for a wine dinner featuring family-owned vineyards from the Loire Valley of France at Bistro Menil. Chef Greg Martin has teamed up with the owners of local wine boutique French Country Wines for a special meal that you won’t want to miss.
The dinner – consisting of a four-course menu with wine pairings for $65 – will be offered on Sunday, October 25 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 713-904-3537.
The evening will kick-off with an amuse bouche of Demitasse of Asparagus Soup and Piave Crostini. Guests will enjoy an appetizer of Seared Sea Scallops and Marjoram infused Carrot Juice Reduction with Domaine de Congy Pouilly-Fume 2013. The main course, Grilled Lamb Chops with Mint Demi Reduction and Beet Risotto will be accompanied by a glass of Jourdan & Pichard Chinon Mystere 2013. The final course, Raspberry Clafouti topped with Whipped, Sweet Crème Fraîche paired with Domaine Georges Brunet’s Vouvray 2003 Moelleux, will be a sweet ending to the meal.
