Saint Arnold Beer Dinner at Bistro Menil

If beer is proof that the world wants you to be happy, then this event at Bistro Menil is evidence that the universe wants you to be elated.

That’s what we hope you’ll experience when you partake in chef Greg Martin’s first beer pairing dinner since the restaurant opened in October 2014. Greg has teamed up with Houston’s favorite local brewery, Saint Arnold Brewing Company, for an unforgettable and refreshing meal that will surely add a skip to your step.

The dinner — a three-course menu paired with frosty suds – will be offered on Sunday, July 19, from 5-9 p.m. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 713-904-3537.

Guests will enjoy a starter of ahi tuna tartare bites in crisp shells topped with micro greens and lemon zest, coupled with with Saint Arnold’s double IPA Endeavour.

The main course — a mixed grill of wild game that includes duck confit, quail and venison sausage with whiskey Dijon barbecue sauce and a side of country potatoes — will be accompanied by the dark yet refreshing Santo.

The final course is a warm chocolate-pecan brownie served with house-made vanilla bean gelato and whipped cream, paired with 2012 Pumpkinator, Saint Arnold’s imperial pumpkin stout.
