But Sundays are about comfortable gatherings with the people who are truly the closest to you — your family and your friends who you consider family. Sundays are about good quality time with the least effort possible as you prepare for another week ahead.
Because when you arrive at another manic Monday, you know you wish it was Sunday. That catchy 1985 song from The Bangles can’t be wrong — agree?
That’s why Bistro Menil Chef Greg Martin and his team created Sunday Dinners.
Sunday Dinners means you and your party will enjoy a delicious three-course supper for $29 in our sophisticated yet relaxed ambiance in the heart of the Menil Collection campus.
Specials will change every week and may include dishes such as Chicken Romesco (a Flat Grilled Chicken Breast) with Smoked Almond, Roasted Red Peppers and Smoked Spanish Paprika, Roasted Salmon with Horseradish Dill Sauce or Chicken Fried Steak (a New York Strip battered with Rice Flour) accompanied by Primavera Mixed Vegetables, Bistro Mashed Potatoes and Pan Gravy.
There’s more, of course, but we encourage you to make a reservation, come in and enjoy while leaving the work to chef Greg Martin and his toques. And forget about doing the dishes. We’ll do those, too.
